Arrived

We're in the Boston area now, and Chebbles is with Grandma while Baby V is in the arms of her Aunt E.

So, why was it such a good idea to start a family 3000 miles away from this support system? I slept seven hours in a ROW last night. And Aunt E is flagging from waking up every two hours with Baby V.

Yeah, imagine doing that for ONE HUNDRED DAYS, sister.

It's raining here, but I'm feeling sunny and happy, being with my family, back in my old East Coast stompin' grounds.

Pass the Dunkin' Donuts!

OOOOOh I'm so glad you all are enjoying, and Aunt E is a TROOPER to get up all night with Ms. Thang. Having family local IS a huge help, I gotta tell you. (well, minus that they sometimes drive me bats) But that about nixes the Austin plan, no??? (says the person who wants you to stay put in CA...)

I hear you on family help. I wish I could convince my family to follow me across the country; I certainly continue to try. When will they realize that VA is just not the place to be? Probably never:(

I hope your trip is wonderful and restful!! Just got back after a week visiting family in Boston too! If you are eating out my suggestion is Dali's on the Sommerville Cambridge line near Harvard for Tapas. Legal Seafood in Chestnut Hill next to the theater for clam chowder. And I was disappointed with Blue Ginger (Ming Tsai's restaurant), so don't both fighting Rt 9 traffic to get out there. Flowers should just be in blooming in the Boston Garden where the Swan Boats are (great for kids to ride on!). Hope you are having fun!
