We home schooled both of our children. Our daughter all the way through High School and our son up until High School.What really helps is if you can find the Home Schooling support groups in your area.We belonged to three of them so it gave us lots of activities to choose from. They usually have several outings each month that you can participate in.Even though we did this years ago in a state that at the time it wasn't super popular, there were for example parties for each holiday like a Valentines party at the local skating rink Also there was a weekly literature class and a computer class at one of the local churches.There was even one lady in the group that knew someone who did ceramics and lined up an outing for our group to go to her studio and each child got to make a ceramic bird house. They all turned out so cute.So if you get involved with them it will give you and your child interaction with other people plus you have lots of fun.
